Tandem Paragliding Experience in the Cotswolds
Experience the freedom of flight with a tandem paragliding experience in the Cotswolds, flying from one of our stunning local hills. This unforgettable paragliding experience in the UK is perfect for first-time flyers, adventure seekers, and gift experiences.
Your tandem paragliding flight location is carefully selected on the day based on wind direction, ensuring the safest and most enjoyable flying conditions.
What to expect from your paragliding flight:
Your experience begins with a full safety briefing, where you’ll be guided through take-off, flight, and landing in a simple and relaxed way.
You’ll then be fitted into your harness and helmet, and securely attached to the paraglider, with your instructor positioned safely behind you.
Then it’s time to take off…
After a short run, you’ll gently lift into the air and begin your paragliding flight over the Cotswolds, taking in incredible panoramic views of the countryside.
Enjoy a smooth, peaceful flight—or if you’re feeling adventurous, your instructor can add a few more exciting manoeuvres!
Flight duration:
Flights typically last 10–20+ minutes, depending on the conditions on the day. We always aim for longer flights whenever possible.
If your flight is significantly shorter than expected (under 10 minutes), you’ll be offered:
- A free additional flight on the day, or
- A full rebooking at no extra cost
Safety & experience:
All of our tandem paragliding flights in the UK are weather dependent, and we only fly in safe conditions.
We fly one passenger at a time, ensuring you receive our full attention and the highest level of safety throughout your experience.

Your Requirements
Things you may Want to or Need to bring:
- You must weigh between 40-90kg
- You must be able to run on take off and landing. If you are not in good health or unable to run, please contact us before booking.
- Warm clothing
- Decent footwear like trainers or boots (No high heels or flip flops)
- Bring water as there’s no where to get food or water close by and we might need to wait if the weather isn’t safe.
Getting you Booked Could Not be easier !
- Find a Date.use the Calender to find a date that suits you.
- Register / Log InIf it's your 1st time then you will need to register, if not just log in "Welcome Back".
- Changing your Experience Date/TimeOnce you are registered, you can manage your experience Time/Date as and when you like

Hi! I’m Ashley. My adventure began at 18 when I started skydiving in Swindon, leading me to paragliding and a passion for flying worldwide. In 2008, I founded Cotswold Paragliding to share this thrill with others. We’ve flown thousands of people and inspired many to take up paragliding. With nearly 3,000 flying hours, it’s been an incredible journey.
